Ruling Your World
A powerful reminder: ruling your life isn’t about control — it’s about responsibility.
We love the idea of being queens.
The crown.
The throne.
The power.
But we often leave out the responsibility.
Ruling our world is not about control.
It’s about ownership.
Owning our reactions.
The boundaries we failed to set.
The healing we postpone.
Accepting the mistakes we justify and keep explaining away.
This queen doesn’t sit on that green chair because someone gave it to her.
She took it.
And she sat on it the moment she stopped outsourcing her authority —
to partners,
to parents,
to politics,
to circumstances.
She got tired of waiting to be rescued.
Tired of blaming.
Tired of shrinking so other people could feel bigger.
The scepter in her hand isn’t decoration.
It stands for determination and decision.
When we rule our world, we don’t rule others.
We rule your energy.
Our standards.
Our voice.
Our time.
Being queen means:
We don’t react to noise.
We refuse to be part of the circus.
We don’t surrender our peace to chaos.
We choose our kingdom wisely.
And here’s the part we don’t talk about:
The crown is heavy.
Because once we accept it,
We can’t pretend we’re powerless anymore.
We can’t say, “They made me.”
“I had no choice.”
Or the greatest cop-out:
“That’s just how I am.”
Queens evolve.
Rebuild.
Apologize.
Draw lines.
Rest.
And rise without asking permission.
Queen Week is not about feeling superior.
It’s about removing excuses.
We are already ruling the world we created.
Our home.
Our habits.
Our relationships.
Our emotions.
The only real question is:
Are we ruling it intentionally —
or are we letting people and circumstances run our world?
Is this the kingdom we want?
Or are we ready to take control and rebuild?
It’s time to reclaim what’s ours.
Let's start today
