chronicles of the heart

Illustrations and stories for women who feel intensely.

meet Cristina

Cristina Londoño is an award-winning journalist and Telemundo’s Senior Washington Correspondent. For more than 30 years, she has reported from the frontlines of history — from 9/11 and natural disasters to immigration crises, national politics, and the events of January 6th.

To balance the intensity of it all, Cristina turned inward and discovered another voice: a bold, thick-lashed Heart Diva who emerged through more than 150 illustrations.

Today, Heart by Cristina blends art, story, and emotional honesty to invite women to listen to themselves, face their feelings, and thrive unapologetically — knowing they are never alone.

The Heart Diva

What began as a single drawing in a hotel room in Fort Hood — a heart “Closed for Renovation” — has grown into an entire universe of over 150 hearts.

Over time, they evolved into a thick-lipped, lashy, flirty diva who knows her weaknesses, owns her strengths, and uses attitude and faith as her superpowers.

These illustrated hearts capture moments of love, loss, fear, courage, and reinvention — visual memories of a life lived to the fullest.

From the Frontlines of History

Alongside her art, Cristina continues her work as Telemundo’s Senior Washington Correspondent, covering the stories that shape our collective life.

Journalism and her art are two branches of the same calling: telling the truth — about the world outside, and the world within.
